The following is a message that I received from one of our FTR customers:
We have an issue here in one of our courtrooms and I was wondering if you had some advice on what we could try. The power grid for the location is pretty awful. The power blips a lot where the lights might flicker real quick but none of the pcs will shut off. When that happens, the clock for the court reporting software locks up and they have to stop the session and restart it. It happens enough that the judge called to ask me about it. Both computers are hooked up to a UPS unit, and one of them we just put in a few months ago. When the power blip happens, it's not even enough of a drop to make the UPS kick on. The computers stay on during the whole time. It seems these clocks are extremely sensitive. Any thoughts/suggestions as to what we can do to fix this?
Let me know what questions you would like for me to ask of the customer.
Thank you,
Nick
