ReporterDeck 2 unit hangs on boot
I turned on the reporterdeck 2 unit (hardware) and instead of loading up as usual, it hangs on boot. Only thing visible on the screen is the logo. Unit will not power off with the control slide. Only way to turn it off is to unplug. Does anyone have an idea on what could be going wrong and how I can get it to function normally?

I was wondering if anyone was having problems getting FTR Reporter to archive to a Novell server from a Windows 7 computer running the newest Novell client? Seems like I'm able to browse to the correct folder that I'm trying to archive to, but when I begin to record the FTR reporter loses connectivty to that folder. Seems to work just fine if I'm archiving to a Windows servers. Any insight?

I have a situation that is causing me a small headache. I have a machine running FTR player 5.6 on win 7 64bit. While playing the audio the typist tries to add new audio from the day to the folder and the FTR player locks up. Keeps playing the current audio but the player is non responsive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Foot pedal not working
Hello,
We are a typing service which has recently started using The Record Player 5.6 for a specific client. We have got it working on one computer running Windows XP Professional, but when we run it on one of our typists' computers running Windows 7 Home Premium the foot pedal does not work. The foot pedal works fine with other programs, and with The Record Player on other computers. I have tried uninstalling other programs which use the foot pedal, and uninstalling and reinstalling The Record Player, recaibrating the foot pedal, all to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas?

TheRecord Manager exporting 787mb .wav for Audio Cd
I am wondering if anyone out there besides myself is running into this issue. We just upgraded fro Ver. 2.2 to ver 5.6 because we went to a Widnows 7 laptop. we received our first request for a copy of one of our hearings to be produced via Audio Cd which we have done in the past with ver 2.2. However, when exporting the hearing which was 3hr long, TheRecord Manager prompts us that it will require 3 blank cd's. When the exporting is done, prompts you to place a blank cd in drive. And when you do and try to burn the audio it comes up with the error of the type of cd is wrong i see that it is creating the separate audio files as it would Normaly would but the file sizes are 787MB and not the standard 700MB for a 80 min Audio Cd.

FTR 5.x Log Notes
My FTR 5.x is having some problems advancing the time and advancing the time stamp on the log note entered.
If the main time gets stuck, restarting the application usually will fix it. Also the log notes time stamp will get stuck and cause problems. It repeats the same time over an over again.
Any ideas?

FTR not responding
I'm in the middle of a five-day trial on CD. The cd suddenly stops and is not responding. I've gone out of the record and came back in to see if that helps, even closed down file and rebooted. It continues to not respond. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Issues With Replication After Touch Upgrades
Hello.
We just recently upgraded our FTR hardware, replacing the FTR RecordDeck2s with the Touches in 14 courtrooms. They're all recording and working great in that respect -- much better than the RD2s.
The problem we're having is replication on the network.
We're using FTR Remote Replicator 5.3, which was upgraded Thursday afternoon from version 3.3. I didn't do an upgrade, rather an install from scratch, wiping out all of the previous settings (including leftover registry settings), adding each Touch via IP address, which didn't require a username/password.
However seven decks are replicating perfectly whereas the other seven are erroring out with the message, "Failed to log in to source folder. Please check that the specified uesr has access to the path, and that the specified username and password are correct." Save for IP addresses (and I can ping those not replicating successfully) and names of the decks, there is no difference between the decks themselves and no passwords set.
The Replicator software is running on a server 2003 box and I verified that Lanman authentication is "Send LM & NTLM responses" is set.
Any ideas?

Player 5.6.1
Installed TheRecordPlayer 5.6.1 just fine on my own pc. Clicking on desktop shortcut brings up Normal view skin for loading content, etc.
When installed remotely after launching program setting up search folder and dismissing notification window the application appears in dock at bottom of screen but normal or compact skin does not appear even after reboot. Can't seem to get window to appear.
Clicking on an audio file does bring up compact view. Is there a command to bring back when minimized?

TheRecord Application has stopped working
I have Windows 7 on 32-bit system. I had RecordPlayer 2.2 Plus and then upgraded online once I upgraded my system from Vista to Windows 7. It worked for about 8 months. Now, I'm getting a message that says, "The RecordApplication has stopped working. Problem caused program to stop working correctly. Windows will close program. Debug [doesn't work] and Close Program.
Help. I have a ton of work to do and now this.
