In trying to upgrade customers from 2.X to 5.X we have hit a very large snag. In 2.X it was necessary to save log notes as a separate step (to me a disadvantage). However, that step allowed them to rename the note in a recognizable way, when they saved it to CD or other files. They didn't have to accept the code that FTR assigns to it. Since the customers have gotten used to the ability to rename the note, and since the may make many notes in a day, they feel that this issue will continue to make them stay with 2.X, for as long as they can. I see their point, that when faced with a long list of log notes files, that's it's virtually impossible for them to identify a case without opening each one of them. Is there any way to change the default naming convention from the code, to one of the Log Notes fields...like description? I see no way to do it with any user accessible fields.
