Static IP

I have a FTR Touch 5.5 that am wanting to give a static IP. Every time I change from DHCP to Static I get an error because the unit cannot archive to the network folder specified do to it credentials. I believe when I turn off DHCP I loose the DNS servers I need to give the unit to have the credentials it needs top archive properly. Does anyone have a solution? Is even possible to manually set DNS servers to the unit?
