I've come across a problem with 5.6 and 5.6.1 when sealing, or unsealing after-the-fact. This problem was noted on 3 different computers. These computers are not networked, the recordings are local and reside in the FTR Recordings file. Archiving is done to CD.
The process of recording has been completed and the files are successfully archived to CD. The problem is after making changes, either "Sealing" or "Unsealing." The error is only found on the final corrected CDs, which are created through Reporter. The "Seal" scenario followed is this; A recording is loaded into Player. A portion of the recording is selected, and "Save" is initiated. "Manager" is opened. Under "Sealing Options" I've selected "Network" (not CD for reasons I'll explain later*). Working through the next screens, I finish the project. When inspecting the recordings, in the "FTR Recordings" file, all files are good, "Public" files have been modified, and a "Sealed" file is created. Everything is good, to this point. The issue comes when opening "Reporter" and you find that a new archive task has been populated, in order to make the new CDs that are necessary for filing. This new archive project completes, a "Sealed" and "Public" CD are created and all seems to be good. However, when opening the "Public" CD, the files have substantially different times that are not the same as the original recording. Both Start and Stop times are incorrect. If more than one section has been selected for sealing (after-the-fact) then there will be multiple errors.
Likewise, if you "Unseal" portions, the resulting "Public" CD, suffers from time differences in times.
*If, in Manager's "Sealing Options," you select "Optical Disk," the results are that indeed a "Sealed" CD is created, however the associated audio is completely removed from the "FTR Recordings" folder. The "Sealed" portion is no longer in "Public," (as should be the case) however a "Sealed" sub-folder isn't created. This "Sealed" audio will only be found on the CD.
I've also found, at least in 5.6, that when initiating some of the commands to burn the CDs, multiple attempts of "Retry" must be done to complete the burn process.
