We are recording our audio on the computer and then it is archived out to a server. Then we have other users that will listen to the archive on the network live. We have not had any problems with this for 5 or 6 years now.
Recently the users have told me that the audio freezes up on them randomly. I have looked into this a little and it does hapen on all of the different users that use the free player.
They are all windows computers but they are win xp to win 7 and 32 bit and 64 bit.
The only 2 new things in the environment are an updated version of avg antivirus, and the audio is being recorded to a new server.
I watch the server and can see that the file size of the audio file is constantly being updated. I have also added exceptions on avg to the audio files folder.
The audio will restart after a random amout of time or you can reopen the file and continue listening until it freezes up again.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks
Eric
