I have a customer who says the Touch has shut off in the middle of a hearing she says it has happen 3 or 4 times over the course of a year. I have check connections which seem fine the unit is also on a UPS, which I also checked and found in good working order. The monitor does not wear the head set all the time and finds out it is not recording only because the clock is no longer running just -------- dashes. The operator then restarts the Touch. Have you had any issues with The Touch shutting down on it own?
One potencial is the location of the on/off switch next to the head set and microphone jacks. I would be easy to hit the on/off switch while plugging in a headset or moving the Touch. To further complicate the issue is the headset and microphone jacks are labeled on the bottem side of the Touch instead of on the top so the operator has to turn the Touch upside down to make sure they are plugging into the correct jack, both jacks appear identical. (good modifications)
