Help Needed to Isolate error with Infiniti USB foot pedal

Hi 

While using FTR Player 5.6.2 with Infiniti Foot Pedal and an ordinary mp3 file, i find that when i release my foot on the pedal, the audio skips backward by about 1 minute (instead of 3 seconds setting).

I wonder if it might be due to the fact that the audio isnt one that was created with the FTR recorder. Further, the time stamps are all wrong. 

So If i may, can some kind souls in this forum share a short audio that was created with the FTR recorder so that i may isolate the issue?
