Warehouse Install Sequence Question

Ok So we have been running FTR reporter 5.6.1 for awhile now.  We just acquired Warehouse. After reviewing the Admin Guide I have some questions:

Will I have any issues if I already have Reporter 6.6.1b200 and lognotes 5.6 deployed?

We have reporter currently replicating to a new file server, which is were I plan to deploy warehouse, and use a secondary file server for our older recordings, pre CY2013.  Over time we will migrate files from the replicating server to the archive server when we need to free up space, based on what I read after my initial warehouse setup I can add in the secondary server content after the fact but will I need to do the same with the current content installed on the primary server?

Some of the info on the primary server is from FTR Reporter 2.2. will this pose any issues? Based on my reading it is only an issue if I point warehouse directly at this content during initial install but not if I add my existing content afterwards. Correct?  We do plan on deploying updated laptops for are mobile locations with FTR 5.6.1b200 or 5.6.2

Finally should I wait until we implement active directory to install warehouse? I worry about the headache it might cause me down the road if I install now, I leaning towards waiting.

Note: Some of my recorders have been converted into applications, which I plan to re-install after we go to active directory.  They were converted while troubleshooting permissions issues under our workgroup environment. I believe the final issue turned out to be the way we were saving our lognotes, thus the conversion was not necessary. But we were forced to convert one or two due to permissions issues with the replication service. We are currently a workgroup environment consisting of my mostly win 7 machines, 3 - 2008R2 servers, and 2 - 2003 servers. The remaining machines are WinXPsp3 but will be replaced with win7 in the near future.
