My VEC foot pedal stopped working on my desktop computer. It shows up as a device in my control panel under hardware. I have done troubleshooting and it says it is working properly. I've tried two different software programs and neither will work.
However, it works fine on my laptop with the same transcribing software.
I also have a backup foot pedal, exact same model and I have the same exact problem. Works on laptop but not desktop.
I tried restoring my PC to an earlier date and that did not help. I am using Windows 7 on both desktop and laptop.
Any suggestions? Of course, I am under deadline. I can use my laptop but prefer not to.
