TheRecordPlayer 5.6.1 Error 0x80040217

Hello,

We are having issues with our Windows 7 Professional, SP1 machines and the ForTheRecord Player software.  The software is able to play .TRM files without issue.  It is able to play "normal" WAV files without issue.  It will not, however, play WAV files that are generated by ForTheRecord, giving the above error code.  It appears that there is a missing subtype GUID of {00008180-0000-0010-8000-00AA00389B71} and I cannot find what this goes to; only brief mentions of ForTheRecord Player software.  I've tried K-lite, ffdshow, and a myriad of other codec collections and filters and I can't get this message to go away.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling in pretty much every permutation possible to see if there is a compatibility issue with FTR and some other media player or codec pack that we use and I'm not finding anything.  The most information that I've been able to find to help with this is from Media Player Classic that provides the following information:

I really need to get this working as we receive many recordings from the courts almost on a daily basis.
