An error occurred while attempting to start playback. Reload content and try again. (0x80004005)

Can't seem to play files.  I uninstalled my previous version, reinstalled the new version yesterday.  Shut down my computer last night and have been trying to play back audios since with no success.  I even uninstalled again and reinstalled to no avail.

 

This is what happens:  I open FTR.  I open and browse for the file I want.  I click on it and it "appears" to have loaded with start and stop times, length of audio, etc.  I click play and the play button remains green although nothing is happening.  I click play again and it "stops."  I click play again and the error box pops up:  “An error occurred while attempting to start playback.  Reload content and try again.  (0x80004005)”

 

Any help is appreciated.  Thank you!
