We are having a problem with MP3 files being replicated to the wrong network storage location on DART after they are ingested from Flash cards with the Windows 7 version of DART.
Without publically disclosing our network shares I will refer to the network Share as Z:\
Windows XP replicator correctly places Public recordings in the network storage location under the
ISO Date Folder eg. Z:\20140415\16214B-J-NDIS, however
the Windows 7 install places the public recordings in the network storage location as Z:\Public\20140415\16214B-J-NDIS folder.
We do of course actively use the Z:\Sealed folder structure.
Win XP Producer is ingesting the files locally to c:\FTR Recordings\20140415\16214B-J-NDIS
Win 7 Producer is ingesting the files locally to c:\FTR Recordings\Public\20140415\16214B-J-NDIS
I suspect Replicator is simply replicating this issue onto the Network Storage.
The XML file for the job is placed in the correct place on the network storage Z:\20140415\16214B-J-NDIS (by the database/DARTApp) but the audio files and session files end up under Z:\Public\20140415\16214B-J-NDIS
DART search finds the ingested content and Player locates the content and plays it normally. It is just not being placed in the correct location on Z:\
I understand that this is probably a vestage of Sealed vs Public classification in the COTS product however I need to know how to configure this not to happen in Windows 7 before we can remove the last Windows XP ingest machine from our environment.
I suspect the configuration of this information is contained in the newproducer.zip file that is applied during the build to patch patch producer correctly for the APH environment.
Can you advise on how to corrrect this issue?
Thanks
