Reporter Deck2 stop recording

On of my client have some problems with Reporterdeck2. Sometimes, they start recording, everything seems ok, but it did not recorded. By chance they used a PMD660 Marantz as backup, but it’s only 2 channels.

Have you ever seen this problem? Is there some tune up we can do on that old unit, format disk, reimage?
