I have FTR 5.5, Windows 7, 32 bit, on a Dell Latitude D830.
When I turn on the laptop (already hooked up to DMX8), I'm immediately hearing the audio from live microphones in my headphones. FTR Recorder has not even been started yet. When I try to start FTR Recorder it gives me an error about "recording halted. Insufficient system resources exist to complete".
My FTR recordings are set up to record to the C drive, and I know there is space on it.
I've tried hooking up the DMX8 to a different USB. This works out and allows FTR Recorder to run just once; if I shut down and turn on again the same issue starts over again, I hear audio long before I even try to open the Recorder.
I tried changing the recording source in the Windows audio settings and it had no effect.
