The Court Recording software, For The Record, is not working with all the Lenovo ThinkCentre M92p desktop computers running on default Lenovo image of Windows 7 Professional 64bit, Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit, and Windows 7 Enterprise 32bit.
The software operates in conjunction with hardware plugged into the USB port (2.0 or 3.0).
Windows detects the USB port and the hardware when it’s plugged in. The drivers for the software also installs properly and displays as it should in device manager.
However, when we launch the software, it does not detect the hardware despite device manager seeing it. After opening the options > recording menu in the software, the mixer will kick in and function as it should and continue to until the computer restarts.
We have tested the software on other computers from different manufacturers running the same operating system and we have not encountered the issue. The issue only comes up with the ThinkCentre M92p computers.
